The annual Tokyo Auto Salon is basically Japan's SEMA. As such, the manufacturers prepare a cornucopia of kitted-up show cars, usually with a focus on their newest models. With TAS on deck a couple of weeks from now, Japan's carmakers are unveiling their show lineups.
In Honda's case, its new kei cars, the N BOX and the N600-inspired N-ONE, get prominent billing. From a performance-car standpoint, there are two salt-in-the-wound rides: an S2000 sporting new Modulo bodywork and interior dress-up bits (Modulo is Honda's in-house JDM accessorizer), plus the supercharged, limited-edition CR-Z Mugen RZ.
For those keeping score at home, that's one defunct sports car and the CR-Z that should have been. But hey, you can still buy a Civic Si here. Remember, it's restyled.
Flip through the photo gallery linked above for a highlight reel of the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon Hondas. While you're at it, pour one out for the S2000 and email your Senator Honda to tell them you want to buy an N-ONE.
